Dollis Valley Estate Regeneration
As part of ongoing proposals to regenerate the Dollis Valley Estate in the London Borough of Barnet, we have formulated solutions to existing wider area junction capacity issues such that the traffic impact of the new residential development will be minimised. Working in conjunction with the housing association, the local authority and Transport for London other issues examined include layout design initiatives and public transport provision.
Bow Common Residential
Three separate residential regeneration projects in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets based in the Bow Common area of the borough. With the wider regeneration of the area and the benefits that follow in terms of increased accessibly, high density car-free developments are becoming increasingly realistic.
North Cornwall Residential Land Designation
Recently we have prepared a highways statement which details the traffic and access implications relating to a potential residential development site in North Cornwall. The designation for residential development land in the area is under review by the local authority. Our client is hoping that the site in question will be included in the revised Local Plan on the basis of the study carried out.
Student Accommodation Development, Edinburgh
The preparation of a transport assessment and travel plan to accompany a planning application for a new student accommodation block and extension to the Festival Theatre in the Scottish Capital. The reports were specifically tailored to reflect the site’s city centre location and the travel characteristics of university students.
